Unique hand-painted artwork on a vintage Herman Miller edition DSW fiberglass chair from the 70s, in excellent vintage condition.
Designed for the “Low-Cost Furniture Design” competition of MoMA in New York in 1950, the DSW chair (here DSR with the Eiffel metal base) is the result of research by the Eames couple on the molding of fiberglass until then reserved. in aeronautics. Its one-piece shell adapted to the human anatomy is revolutionizing the furniture industry.

It was produced on a large scale as early as 1950 in the United States by the manufacturer Hermann Miller. It is the beginning of "mass design".
The first 1950 Eames chairs, distributed by the American Herman Miller, will come out of Zenith Plastics in Gardena, California.
After 1953, the publisher changed factories several times, but the production remained American. In Europe, the rights to DSW will be purchased by Vitra.

Fuzi is a renowned Parisian illustrator, tattoo artist and graffiti artist.
He made his debut in the 90s with the Parisian graffiti group UVTPK (Ultra Violent The Psychopath Killer), and became known for his unusual graffiti thanks to a style all his own. Fuzi is indeed at the origin of the'Ignorant Style, which results in a false naive style and minimalist designs. EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
