Studio Job, a brand halfway between art and design objects, was created in 1998 by Job Smeets, a Dutch student at the Eindhoven Design Academy.
Nynke Tynagel, an artist graduated from the same school, joined him in 2000 and took on the role of graphic designer. Together, they decide to create one-of-a-kind objects by mixing art, design, sculpture and fashion while emphasizing details.
Studio Job has been exhibited in more than 400 museums and in 2009 opened an art gallery in the center of Antwerp in Belgium. They are then considered by Financial Time among the most influential designers. In 2017, Studio Job joined forces with the Italian brand Seletti to produce its creations. Together, they founded a common brand: BLOW.
